Setup

Test contacts

Test contacts are named testers (phone, email, Instagram, Messenger). Traffic from those identifiers routes to this organization so you can safely try agents and WhatsApp without mixing production customers.

In the app: Setup → Test contacts

Add testers

  1. Open Setup → Test contacts. Pick a project in the header if you are in All projects (mutations need one project).
  2. Add a tester: name plus phone and/or email and Meta identifiers as needed.
  3. Save. There is a maximum number of org test contacts.
  4. Send WhatsApp, call, or email from those identifiers. Threads should appear in this organization’s inbox.
  5. Use the channel how-to actions on each row when a channel needs an extra callback or link step.
