Domains, SES identities, and campaign From pools in one Project

Production send on CoPulse is Amazon SES: buy or import domains, verify DNS, attach multiple domains to the SES account, then manage From addresses and warmup caps. Campaigns and drips can split volume across a sender pool. IMAP still syncs replies into the omnichannel inbox.

  • Multi-domain SES
  • Warmup + From pool

What you configure

Click-path: Setup → Domains for inventory, then Setup → Channels → Email for SES. Pick From addresses on each Growth email step. Organization wallet meters send.

Piece Where What it is What it is not
Domain purchase / import Setup → Domains Buy a name or import one you already own; DNS and attach to SES A personal mailbox product
Multiple domains on SES Attach to the email channel Several verified domains on the same SES account One domain locked forever
Email warmup Per verified identity Daily send caps; over-cap steps can delay Engagement-ordered sending (we do not reorder by opens)
Sender pool Campaign / drip email step Several From addresses; volume split at send time A new channel type per From

Domains you buy or import

Setup → Domains searches availability, registers, or imports an existing name, then shows DNS. Attach a domain to an SES email channel so campaigns can send from that brand. You can keep more than one domain on the same SES account — launch vs sales vs support — as long as each identity is verified.

SES for production send

Amazon SES is the scale path: identities, From addresses, warmup, and campaign attribution. SMTP remains available for mailbox-style outbound where you configure it.

IMAP inbound

Sync replies into CoPulse so agents and humans answer on the same contact timeline as WhatsApp and chat.

Verified From list

Each domain can expose several From addresses. Mark a default; campaigns may still select a pool.

Warmup and multiple senders on a campaign

Warmup is a daily cap per identity. If the cap is hit, that send can defer — it is not a smart sequence that reorders the list by who opened last. On an email campaign or drip step, choose one From or a pool of From addresses so volume spreads across warmed identities.

Omnichannel inbox

Email threads next to WhatsApp, chat, and voice on one customer timeline.

AI-assisted replies

Agents draft and send when automations or humans approve.

Campaigns and drips

Broadcasts and nurture with wallet preview and From selection on the email step.

Library templates

Reusable email designs for campaigns and 1:1 replies.

CRM activity

Opens, clicks, and replies log on the contact and deal in the Project.

Wallet pricing

Platform email fees debit the Organization wallet. See pricing.

Email workflows that close loops

Professional mail inside the same Project as messaging and voice.

Proposal follow-up

Deal stuck in Negotiation? Drip sends a check-in email, then a WhatsApp nudge, all logged on the contact.

Launch on a second domain

Keep the corporate domain warm and send a project launch from a dedicated domain attached to the same SES account.

Support replies

IMAP brings the thread in; the agent drafts from a knowledge base; a human approves.

Frequently asked questions

Domains, warmup, and From pools.

Can I buy a domain inside CoPulse?

Yes. Setup → Domains supports purchase and import, DNS, and attach to an SES email channel.

Can several domains sit on one SES account?

Yes. Verify and attach multiple domains, then choose From addresses from those identities on campaigns.

Does warmup send to engaged contacts first?

No. Warmup is a daily cap (and possible delay) per identity. We do not reorder the audience by engagement.

Can one campaign use multiple sender IDs?

Yes. The email step can select a pool of verified From addresses; volume is split at send time. Empty selection falls back to the channel default.

Is SendGrid required?

SES is the production identity, warmup, and campaign-From path. SMTP/IMAP remain for mailbox connect. Do not assume a second ESP is required.

Wallet?
