A WhatsApp inbox is not core banking
Applicants already live in chat. That does not make the thread the ledger, the loan origination system, or the licensed advice record. CoPulse is engagement with human handoff when a person must speak. It is not core banking. Compliance still belongs to your counsel, your licences, and the systems of record you already run.
- Category, not a KYC recipe
- Jobs will live on playbooks
- How-tos will live on guides
What this post is for
This is a 2026 note for banks, NBFCs, and insurers writing RFPs that accidentally ask WhatsApp to underwrite. Application nurture, KYC completion, and payment nudges will be future playbooks. Licensed-advisor handoff will be a job page, not this essay. This slug stays the category warning.
Handoff is not origination
A conversation agent can collect a document list you already published and pass the thread to a human. That is engagement. Decisioning, credit files, and policy issuance stay in the systems built for them. Mixing the two produces a procurement freeze: risk wants a core-grade archive inside chat; the branch keeps personal phones because applicants will not wait.
Put the number on the Organization. Keep opt-outs on the Project. Autonomous success is sends and reads, not “loan disbursed.” Conversation agents, Growth drips, and autonomous tasks are three systems. This post does not claim a jurisdiction’s privacy badge.
